Borderland 3: A Guide to Defeat Hemovorous the Invincible Raid Boss

Borderlands 3 has brought another monstrosity creature. In this guide, I’ll share some of the best techniques and what you need to bring every single time to defeat Hemovorous the invincible raid boss.

The players of Borderland 3 are always looking forward to the director’s cut to experience something adventurous. But this time, you’ll have to face a more challenging task. Hemovorous is the first invincible raid boss in Borderland 3, and here are what strategies you have to follow to defeat this monster.

Find the Hemovorous Raid Boss

To find the boss you have to make your way to the Sanctuary and search ClapTarp in his room, which is situated near the ship’s cargo area. Interact with safe in the ClapTrap’s room, which will trigger a quest ‘You. Will. Die. (Over and Over)’. Allow the quest and proceed to your next objective.

Grab Free Eridium

Pick the Free Eridium from the safe and head to the Darkthirst Dominion situated in the Ascension Bluff Zone.

Darkthirst Dominion

You will find the boss in the north part of the map in the “Ascension Bluff” zone. Go through a gate that will take you to a place called “Darkthirst Dominion”. Once you enter into the darkthirst dominion, the fight against Hemovorous the invincible, starts. Make sure you have all the necessary weapons, the right gear, character abilities, and other safety stuff to take on the challenge.

Beating Hemovorous the Invincible

Inside the Darkthirst Dominion, you’ll find an area called A Tithe for Blood. In that area, you’ll get a few things named Ammo Dump, Quick Change station, and Zed’s Med’s for your convenience. Along the main path, there’s a locked gate Eridium gate that’ll opened by paying 500 Eridium. Once you pay the fee, you’ll reach another area called The Gorging Gorge.

In the Gorging Gorge, you’ll spot a mysterious egg surrounded by Varkids. The Hemovorous larva is inside that egg. Attack the egg to release the larva. To kill the Hemovorous, you’ll first have to beat the Larva, then the Adult, next Badass, and later Superbadass. After defeating all of them, Hemovorous the Invincible will appear.

Use powerful explosive weapons and keep moving during the entire battle to avoid being stunned. Remember that the enemy has a significant amount of health, so you’ll have to keep attacking until the Hemovorous the invincible is defeated.
